1. Golden Eagle


The first footpath on Lakeshore Trail, this path has great hills and spectacular views of the lake through the pine trees.

2. Mourning Dove


The second footpath you come to, this path has a small stream and a great view of the meeting center across Wesley Lake.

3. Painted Bunting


On the edge of Woodland park, this path is one of the longest. It offers great views of the Oden Pavillion across Wesley Lake.

4. Blue Heron


This path leads to the Wilderness Pavillion, with spectacular panoramic lake views.

5. Meadow Lark


This footpath takes you to the first Bridgenear the beaver dam. It has great views of Wesley Lake and the Northern inlet.

6. Osprey


The Osprey footpath starts at the Bridgeand winds along the bank of Wesley Lake’s Northern Inlet. Deer tracks are a common site along this path.

7. Brown Pelican


The Brown Pelican foot path has great views down the entire length of the lake and wispy grasses lining the lake shore.

8. Wood Duck


This footpath leads to the second and longest footbridge. Wood ducks are a common site iin this grassy area.

9. Roseate Spoonbill


The Roseate Spoonbill path winds along the lake shore. It’s not uncommon to see the deer wading on the water’s edge.

10. Cardinal


Winding around the far south west corner of Lake Wesley, the Cardinal path strolls past a small beaver lodge.

11. Wild Turkey


A great path through young pines and the water’s edge. The Wild Turkey path has small rolling hills and great views of the Wilderness Gazebo.

12. Egret


This hilly path, takes you from the wilderness back to the Lamar & Wally White Sports Field and Picnic Pavilion.
